Monique Legaré
Director
Choreographer, Teacher, Performer
Monique Legaré trained as a teacher and dancer. She performed with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal and studied dance in Canada, USA and Poland. She graduated from the Choreography School Folk Dance Leader program in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and did extensive research on folk dance in Hungary.
She taught on the North American continent, Poland and Ukraine.
Locally, she taught Social Dance at MCCC Continuing Education for 12 years and became PA State Polka Dance Champion in 2003 and 2004. She recently taught Hungarian Folk Dance at Mainewoods Folk Dance Camp.
A remarkably versatile dancer with teaching and performing experience in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, International Folk Dance, Social Dance, French-Canadian Clogging, Theater and Israeli Dance, she is the director of the Professional Dance Academy of Montgomery County, and the artistic director of the Monique Legaré International Dance Company as well as of the Janosik Polish Dancers founded by late husband Dr. Morley Leyton, former dancer with the NY Metropolitan Opera Ballet who studied in Poland with Mazowze.
Jennifer De Bree

Jennifer has been teaching for 27 years.
She previously served as Artistic Director for the Doylestown Ballet; and the Assistant Director/Ballet Mistress of Ballet Concerto where she danced as a principal adjunct artist.
Formerly with Brandywine Ballet, Dance Theater of Pennsylvania, Harford Ballet, and Mid-Atlantic Dance Theater. Her performing includes “Titania” in Midsummer Night’s Dream; “Belle” in Beauty and The Beast; “Young Belle” in A Christmas Carol; “Lilac Fairy” in Sleeping beauty; “Snow Queen and Dewdrop, Swan Lake, Paquita, Serenade, Cinderella, Concerto Barocco, Who Cares, Dracula, The Wizard of Oz, Rhapsody in Blue, and numerous original works.
Jennifer has attended summer programs and training with the Richmond Ballet, Columbia City Ballet, The Philadelphia Ballet, Broadway Dance Center and Steps. She has been fortunate to have studied under many notable teachers such as Gelsey Kirkland, Cherie Noble, Barbara Sandonado, Marion Tonner, and David Howard.
Jennifer is Certified in PBT (Progressive Ballet Technique), and Youth Protection Advocates for Dance. She also holds her CPR and First Aid certifications. She currently coaches students entering the Youth American Grand Prix and has former students now at Joffrey, Pittsburg Ballet, Ballet Austin, American Repetory Ballet, San Diego, Contempra Dance Theater and attending Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet.
Linda Sena

Linda Banashek Sena began her ballet training in Philadelphia at the Sena Studio of Dance. She continued her ballet training in the professional program at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet with teachers Margarita de Saa and John White. Linda earned a B.F.A in Dance from Temple University. While at Temple, Linda met Dr. Morley Leyton founder of the famous Janosik Polish Folk Dance Ensemble and became a member of the troupe. Linda performed extensively with The Janosik Dancers throughout the Mid-Atlantic and in Poland. After graduation , Linda joined the Wilmington Ballet Company under the direction of Victor Wesley. She also danced with the Philadelphia Opera Ballet. Linda has performed as a soloist with the Valley Forge Dance Theater as a guest artist in their annual Nutcracker production at the Valley Forge Music Fair. She is currently a performing member of the Monique Legaré International Dance Company and is still a performing member of the Janosik Dancers. Linda delights in keeping up her training under Monique Legaré at the Professional Dance Academy and loves to share her passion for ballet through teaching.
